Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the Folkira booking services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account with Folkira as a Traveler or Host, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by the conditions described in these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the platform.
2. User Content & Cultural Sensitivity
Folkira is a space for celebrating diversity and community. Hosts retain ownership of listings, images, and description itineraries. You must not upload offensive, defamatory, or misleading content, or engage in culturally disrespectful actions during experiences.
3. Payments, Escrow & Fees
Folkira provides a secure escrow service. Traveler payments are collected immediately upon booking confirmation. The platform charges a 10% operational service fee, and 90% is released to the Host after successful booking check-in validation.
4. Limitations of Liability
Experiences are hosted by independent local individuals. While we vet host identities, Folkira is not liable for injury, damage, or theft occurring during physical tours, travel treks, or feasting gatherings. Users are encouraged to obtain travel insurance.
