About this experience
Nestled in the shadow of Mount Ama Dablam, Khumjung is a historic Sherpa village. Stay in our traditional Sherpa home, cook Salted Butter Tea (Suja) and Sherpa stew (Shyakpa) with us, and hear firsthand stories of Everest expeditions from village elders. We'll visit the local Khumjung Monastery (which houses the alleged Yeti scalp) and enjoy unmatched mountain views.
