Ever wanted to experience the colorful, high-energy spectacle of a traditional Hindu wedding in Nepal? Through our cultural partnership, you will attend a real wedding ceremony as an honored international guest. You will participate in the groom's procession (Janti) with a brass band, witness the sacred rituals (Saptapadi) around the fire, wear traditional wedding attire (Kurta/Daura Suruwal), and enjoy a massive wedding buffet.

Host Itinerary

2:00 PM

Traditional Fitting & Dressing Session

Meet your guide at the dressing room. We will provide and help you drape a beautiful Saree (for women) or wear a Daura Suruwal (for men).

3:00 PM

The Janti Groom's Procession

Join the groom's family and the wedding brass band. Dance in the streets in a joyful procession as the groom makes his grand entrance to the wedding venue.

4:30 PM

Rituals at the Mandap Canopy

Take seats near the sacred canopy (Mandap). The guide will explain the Sanskrit chants, the exchange of garlands, and the couple walking seven steps around the fire.

6:30 PM

Wedding Feast & Dancing

Enjoy a grand multi-cuisine buffet featuring traditional wedding goat curry, pulao, and sweets like Lalmohan. Dance with the family and congratulate the newlyweds.
